Please join the Massachusetts Bar Association's Labor & Employment Section for an overview of the key issues and considerations in settling employment law claims. The panelists will cover a variety of topics, including:

  • Effective settlement negotiations
  • Release of claim provisions
  • Categories of settlement payment
  • Related tax law implications
  • Medicare provisions in settlement agreements

Panelists will also discuss best practices when advising clients on these topics, from both management and employee perspectives. This program will be an excellent opportunity for attorneys to learn up-to-date tips from experts in the field on settlement strategies and how to effectively negotiate a resolution to employment law claims.

This webinar will be hosted using Zoom. Registration is required by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7, in order to participate in this program. After you register with the MBA, please look for an email from MassBar Education with the Webinar ID and password. The email will be sent before the program.
