This program will address the issues created by recreational and medicinal marijuana use under Massachusetts law. The panel will discuss the admissibility of field sobriety testing for marijuana use and the promulgation of bylaws prohibiting smoking marijuana in public. This program will also highlight the banking and zoning issues that may be implicated when setting up a marijuana dispensary. In addition, panelists will look at employment issues regarding on- and off-duty use of medical versus recreational marijuana, and the employer’s obligation to engage in the interactive reasonable accommodation process. Join us for this timely and important discussion.
