Countdown to MUPC: Register for the "MUPC Demystified" CLE series
After nearly two decades of debate, the Massachusetts Uniform
Probate Code ("MUPC") was signed into law on Jan. 15, 2009 and will
take effect on Jan. 2, 2012.
MUPC substantially impacts the practice of estate
administration, increasing uniformity with other states, adding
protections for those under guardianship and the beneficiaries of
trusts, easing the administration of probate matters for judges and
court personnel and reducing delays for citizens. Click here
to view a Massachusetts Bar Association MUPC Resource Center.
The MBA is committed to helping you be prepared for this
momentous change in how probate law is practiced in the state of
Massachusetts. Register for our dynamic five-part education series,
which is designed to provide probate practitioners (as well as
those who aspire to be) with an in-depth knowledge of the MUPC,
exactly how it works and instruction on the new probate forms that
will be issued by the court.

a discounted price.
Unable to come to Boston? Through MBA On
Demand, these programs will be available as real-time Webcasts. You
have the choice to attend "virtually" from your home or office
computer. Webcast space is limited, so registrants will be taken on
a first-come, first-served basis.
All MUPC seminars are available for registrants to watch via MBA
On Demand after the live program has taken place.
