Track Phone: iPhone apps deliver time and billing on-the-go
More and more attorneys are on the move, more and more of the
time. The ubiquity of smartphones means that more of those
attorneys are also managing their practices on the road, through
the leveraging of iPhones and other top choices in mobile
telephony.
The array of applications, more commonly known as "apps,"
available to lawyers using smartphones is rather dizzying. Of late,
we at LOMAP have had a number of questions from attorneys regularly
using iPhones, and looking for time and billing applications.
Fortunately for those attorneys (and for you, too, if you happen to
be looking), there are a good number of time and billing apps
available for the iPhone:
Jeff Richardson's iPhone JD blog
lists no less than 17 time and billing apps (complete with
screenshots, and descriptions) for the iPhone, in this post. Reid Trautz's Reid My Blog! references Jeff's post and also
offers a couple of date calculation app choices, here, in the context of a larger listing of
useful iPhone apps for lawyers. Law
Technology News has recently published on time and billing app options for iPhone and
Blackberry users.
Of course, if you're of the industrious and independent
persuasion, you can browse the iPhone App Store, to discover your own
favorites.
