Thank you for participating in the Massachusetts Bar
Association's 2014 High School Mock Trial Program. The MBA is
particularly pleased to be celebrating the 29th year of the
competition. It is truly a testament to the dedication of the many
lawyers and teachers who volunteer their time that this program
continues to thrive.
This year's teams will try either a criminal or civil
case. The case information will be shared with the teams at
the teacher/attorney coach orientation taking place during the week
of October 21st throughout the state. Please refer to the
registration form that outlines the dates and sites for the
teacher/attorney coaches orientations.
The tournament begins in mid-to-late January and continues into
March with a "sweet sixteen" round, culminating in the State
Finals, to be held on TUESDAY, MARCH 25,
2014. All participating teams are invited
and strongly encouraged to attend the State Finals to observe the
tournament's competition at its highest level.
We are grateful for the efforts and long hours dedicated by the
members of the Mock Trial Committee. We thank you for your
participation and hope you find the experience challenging,
enlightening and fun!
