"Open Dialogue on Court Practices" series heads to Boston on Sept. 17
Chief Justice Margaret H. Marshall to welcome participants to forum on improving court practices
Selections for judicial moderators have been finalized for the Boston “Open Dialogue on Court Practices” forum to take place on Sept. 17 beginning at 4:30 p.m. at the Edward W. Brooke Courthouse located at 24 New Chardon St.
As part of a concerted effort to continually improve communication between the trial courts and attorneys who present cases in them, a series of interactive bench-bar sessions is being held across the state. Supreme Judicial Court Chief Justice Margaret H. Marshall, along with Chief Justice for Administration and Management Robert A. Mulligan, will welcome attorneys to the third in this series of events on Sept. 17.

The series is jointly sponsored by the Massachusetts Trial Court, Massachusetts Bar Association, the Court Management Advisory Board and local bar associations where each forum is being held. In addition to area attorneys, judges and court staff are also invited to participate in the Sept. 17 forum, which is being co-sponsored by the Massachusetts and the Boston Bar Associations.
